FDA OKs first new weight-loss pill in 13 years
Wed Jun 27, 2012
Is that a misprint? 3 - 3.7% of body weight? I can do that tonight if I want to use the wrestler's workout. I want to lose 20-25% of my body weight.
Soviet-era pill from Bulgaria helps smokers quit
Wed Sep 28, 2011
Let's see....1) its really cheap 2) it works really well and 3) seems to have no side effects in years and years of use by millions of people....I guess that practically guarantees it will never see the light of day here. Though at the same time, smokers are taxed into the ground and blamed for bi …
2012 campaigns and the downgrade effect
Mon Aug 8, 2011
We can absolutely blame republicans for this....McConnell admitted day 1 that his #1 goal was to make sure Obama would not be reelected. The repubs have since been doing just that, making sure the economy tanks so that Obama will be less likely to be reelected.
Stock markets have terrible day; Dow drops 500 points
Wed Aug 3, 2011
Anyone posting here blaming this on Obama is a complete moron! Days after Boehner was bragging about getting 98% of what he wanted and the market is in free fall. Tells me that the republican idea of how to "fix" Washington is also going to ruin America.
What's the most shocking thing MTV has done in its 30 years?
Fri Jul 29, 2011
Yeah, Mtv died a long time ago. This article is a pointless attempt to pretend anything of the original network still exists. I have not watched 5 minutes of mtv in probably a decade.
Airline perks worth paying for
Fri Jul 8, 2011
Sadly this will never happen but these fees are not necessarily here to stay if the people en masse just refused to pay them...ie. refuse to fly. Then, as the generaly flying public, we need to demand that all the airlines rip all the seats out of the planes and replace them 1) with seats that e …
The debt debate, by the numbers
Thu Jul 7, 2011
I will say just this one thing....with housing now years into collapse and no end in sight, if they were to end the home mortgage interest deduction, I think things would be 100 times worse and there would barely be an incentive to buy a house anymore.
In defense of 'Transformers'
Fri Jul 1, 2011
Just saw the movie tonight and while I was greatly pleased with it overall, the 3d was killing me. I took my daughter to see Disney's Hannah/Miley and Jonas Brothers 3d concert movies and they are by far the best ever 3d movies. The images were crystal clear and the 3d was so real I could not be …
Fox host apologizes for Bachmann 'flake' question
Mon Jun 27, 2011
She may be a competent tax attorney, but she is a stupid politician. If I watch more than 25 seconds of her talking I feel that I am losing IQ points.
Florida death penalty ruling could affect Casey Anthony case
Wed Jun 22, 2011
Actually the number of exonerations is higher than you say.....the Innocence Project alone has 271 exonerations, and I am sure (but dont have numbers to back it up) that there have been others not at the hands of the Innocence Project. But I do completely agree with you regarding what I would want …
